Terms of Service

By accessing or using WikiSync ("the Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use. We may update these terms at any time; continued use constitutes acceptance.

WikiSync is an OSRS data API gateway that aggregates and normalizes data from multiple public Old School RuneScape data sources. It provides:

• A single stable API endpoint for OSRS player data, hiscores, and stats
• Intelligent caching and health-aware routing across upstream sources
• Abstraction over third-party API version changes and availability
• Rate-limited access to normalized OSRS data for authorized applications

You may use WikiSync only for lawful purposes. You agree not to:

• Exceed API rate limits or attempt to circumvent rate limiting mechanisms
• Use the Service to build products that compete directly with RuneCrafted Network applications without authorization
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or attack the WikiSync infrastructure
• Resell or sublicense access to the API without written permission
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

WikiSync enforces rate limits to ensure service stability and fair use. Exceeding rate limits will result in temporary request blocking. Persistent abuse may result in permanent IP-level restrictions.

All data returned by WikiSync is sourced from third-party public APIs (OSRS Hiscores, Wise Old Man, TempleOSRS, OSRS Wiki) and may be delayed, cached, incomplete, or inaccurate. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any data.

Always verify critical data through the official upstream sources.

WikiSync is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee continuous or uninterrupted access to the API. Upstream source availability may affect WikiSync availability. We are not liable for disruptions caused by third-party upstream services.

WikiSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make no guarantees about the reliability, accuracy, or suitability of the Service for any purpose.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, WikiSync and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or reliance on the Service.

WikiSync is an independent project operated by RuneAd. We do not claim ownership of any RuneScape-related data or content, which remains the property of Jagex Ltd or the respective upstream sources. WikiSync's own codebase, infrastructure, and API normalization layer are proprietary.

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate API access for any user or application that violates these terms, at our sole discretion. We may discontinue the Service at any time without liability.

We may update these terms at any time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
